Information you give us in forms (name, phone number, property, booking and event details), messages you send us, and basic technical data. Payments are processed through the payment provider you choose; we do not store card numbers.

To respond to you, manage bookings, tickets, assessments and events, deliver services, meet legal duties and improve the site. We rely on your consent, contract and legitimate interests, as the Data Protection Act, 2019 allows.

Vetted partners who deliver your service (for example caterers or cleaners), payment and messaging providers, hosting and analytics providers, and authorities where required by law. Some providers process data outside Kenya.

Questions answered

Is this a wallet?

No. Split payments are booking deposits against a specific reservation, and gifts are credit against a Staybite stay. We do not hold stored funds.

What if someone does not pay?

The dates are held for the agreed window. If the total is not reached, we tell the group and release or extend the hold.

Can vouchers expire?

Voucher validity is stated on the voucher and confirmed on WhatsApp.
